FAMILY OF THE MONTH

THE DONG FAMILY, Michael and Yvonne

Michael is a fairly new member but he has stepped up to be our Deputy Grand Knight. Michael also joins in every project and event that comes up. He is very involved in the Parish as well; Taking over for Bill during Bill’s vacation. He serves with the Bones Brothers and probably other ways that are not as well known. Yvonne has stepped in to help with setup and tear down of the Youth Center during Family Promise Week. She is also a member of St Pius X CCW. Families like the Dong’s are a shining example of our vibrant parish.

To be selected as Family of the month, each family should stand out as an exemplary model to others in the parish. The following factors should be considered when selecting a Family of the month:

  • Is the family tight-knit?

  • Does the family spend quality time together?

  • Does the family attend weekly Mass together?

  • Does the family pray together outside of Mass?

  • Has the family made significant contributions to the parish and church community?

  • Does the family serve as a model of Catholic family values?

  • Winning families will be randomly selected each month from the completed forms received. all fields must be completed to be considered in the drawing. Incomplete and late entries will not be considered
